Maiden Induction of officers and board of directors of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Tri-County (Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino).
Attendance at the first induction of officers and board of directors of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Tri-County was beyond expectations with close to 150 guests who gathered April 21, at the Almanzor Court in Alhambra, Calif. Consul General Adelio Angelito S. Cruz served as inducting officer and keynote speaker. Inspirational messages were delivered by Philippine Trade Commissioner Jojie Dinsay, Councilmember James Toma, former Mayor of West Covina, echoed by West Covina Councilmember Tony Wu; and Marie Cunning, president of the Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce National. Also in attendance were representatives from the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Greater Los Angeles, and the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce South Bay Los Angeles Area and newly-recruited members.
