Arthur Abellada, like most Filipino immigrants, built his career around healthcare. Arriving in the US in his 20’s, he pursued diploma course in Glendale Career College. Prior to this he took up BS in Nursing at Bakersfield College. He began his career in healthcare facilities then shifted to the more flexible working hours in a private practice of cosmetic and plastic surgery. Here he gained decades of experience as a surgical technologist. At present, he works full-time as surgical technologist at Diamond Face Institute Beverly Hills.
Seeing the growing potential in the area of health and wellness, he became more engaged in the business of medical-laboratory products and services. He is currently active in marketing of innovative technologies in the healthcare and in insurance brokerage. Believing in the value of supporting small and medium entrepreneurs, he joined the FACC Tri-County and served as the interim treasurer in 2020. He is also an active member of the board.
He had his secondary education at the Holy Trinity Academy, Manila, Philippines. He was born and raised in the province of Zambales, Philippines. He migrated in the US in the year 1984. He is a Christian and is an active member at the Covina Church of the Nazarene. On his free time he likes to travel, enjoy great food with family and friends and plays tennis.
